2. This quotation is valid for 30 days from the quotation date.
3. This quotation is limited to the work and materials listed.
4. Any changes or additions to this quotation will be listed separately and may incur additional charges.
5. Products and materials are owned by this company until payment has been cleared.
6. Guarantees on all products used are with the manufacturer and not with the company.
7. No liability will be accepted by the company for any financial losses or personal injury resulting from product or material failures.
8. Customers who wish to purchase their own materials should check with the company first to confirm suitability and compliance with current standards and regulations.
9. No liability will be accepted by the company for financial losses due to the customer purchasing incorrect materials.
10. Making good of plasterwork, decoration, re-decoration, specialist refitting of carpets, flooring, etc, is the responsibility of the customer.
11. The company will take all reasonable steps to meet the dates and timescales given for commencement and completion of work, and no liability will be accepted by the company for any losses caused by failure to meet indicated timescales.
12. All work shall be carried out at mutually agreed times.
13. The customer shall ensure that the areas in which work is to be carried out are safe and will assume all responsibility for any personal effects and furnishings, bearing in mind the nature of the work.
14. The company will make every effort to protect all aspects of your property/business and your way of life.
15. Any unforeseen matters that may arise resulting in delays or additional costs for the project will be brought to your attention at the soonest possible opportunity.
16. All work will be compliant with the current electrical and health and safety regulations.
17. Every effort will be made to keep areas of work tidy and safe at all times.
18. Any interruptions to the power supply will be kept to the minimum, and the company will give as much notice as possible if this were to occur.
19. In the event of an interruption to the power supply, the company cannot accept any responsibility for loss of down time or inconvenience caused.
20. Any complaint regarding workmanship, conduct or defects should be brought to our attention as soon as possible, but within 7 days of concern.
21. All payments shall be made in full within 14 days from the date of the invoice.

Waste Management Policy

The company recognises the need to control the movement and safe disposal of building waste and therefore it is our policy not to remove building waste from any work site.

Where this is impractical ore required through a contract, the company will only allow approved and registered waste removal contractors to undertake such work on their behalf.

The hire of skips shall be acceptable for small or medium jobs and remains chargeable to the customer

Health and Safety Policy Statement

The Health and Safety Policy of North Berks Electrics is as follows.

• Provide and maintain a healthy working environment at all times.
• Ensure adequate control of health and safety risks arising from work activities, this includes communication with clients and any use of sub-contractors.
• Provide all required instruction, training, supervision and other relevant health and safety information to employees.
• Ensure that all employees are competent in the work activities they are engaged in.
• Continue to consult with, and update employees on all health and safety issues.
• Provide, as a minimum, “generic” risk assessments for all common tasks engaged in by employees, such as safe isolation procedures, statement that no “live” work will be carried out, working at heights, and all other common tasks carried out by the company where risk is involved and potential danger has been identified.
